Intelligent WhatsApp Notifications - Features/Requirements/Installation


Introduction

Thank you for purchasing our WhatsApp Notification Module for WHMCS. 

The Intelligent WhatsApp Notification module for WHMCS, gives businesses the ability to connect with customers at scale, using Cloud API and free messaging, under WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) & Twilio WhatsApp API limits. 

You can send customer notifications or infromation regarding actions that occur in your WHMCS.

 

Requirements

  • This Module supports WHMCS 8.71 at the date of writing (30th March 2023)
  • You will NEED either a Facebook Cloud API for WhatsAPP OR Twilio WhatsApp API 
  • You will need to have a Facebook Developers Account
  • You will need to create a Facebook App through a Facebook Verified (or unverified) Business / Individual account.
  • You can skip verification of your Facebook Business used for sending messages, but in this case, you will be limited to WhatsApp Messaging limits.
    Learn how to increase this limit here.

Keep in mind that the Primary contact of the Customer will be used for receiving the WhatsApp notifications, in case a valid mobile phone number with country code exists in the contact. Subsequently users can also manually key in their preferred WhatsApp Number and choose the type of notifications they would like to recieve in their Clients Area

Also keep in mind that if you do not have the above Facebook or Twilio Credentials, It may take up to 1 week to apply and get it approved by Facebook. This is not in our hands.

Intelligent WhatsApp Notification For WHMCS features the following.

 

  • Admin Area:

 

✔ Create API Access Tokens for Facebook Cloud API and Twilio WhatsApp API
✔ View Individual Clients Message Logs
✔ Set Individual Clients Message Settings and Set a customized WhatsApp Number. This setting will override the default customers mobile number from the WHMCS and send users WhatsApp on the number you have set. 

HIGHLIGHT Feature: You can EITHER create a WhatsApp Message Template using the variables from the module itself or create the message template from your Facebook WhatsApp Business Manager account and update the template name here. Dont forget to click Use Pre-Made Template if you're using a template created in Facebook. If you create your own WhatsApp Message Template, the API will auto update your Facebook WhatsApp Message Template and send in for review automatically. Typically a WhatsApp Message Template takes 24hours to get approved. So try not to edit it too many times. Once its in for review, you cannot edit the WhatsApp Message Template until its either approved or rejected. This Auto-Update feature only supports if you're using the FACEBOOK Cloud API. It does not support Twilio WhatsApp API. For Twilio API, you have to create your message template in Facebook Directly and input the TemplateName and click Use Pre-Made Template

✔ Admin Notifications: Admin can setup notifications for administrators on which message they should be received. 

  • Client Area:
✔ Clients can set their own desired WhatsApp Number 
✔ Clients can set their Notifications to On/Off
✔ Clients can choose which Notifications they can receive and what not.

 

  • Types of Notifications Availabel on Version 1.0:
✔ Client Login - Client will receive a WhatsApp Notification when they login to their client portal
✔ Client Registration - When a new client registers in the system, The user will be sent a WhatsApp Notification. You can set this as a welcome message if you prefer.
✔ Client Password Change - Clients can receive a WhatsApp Notification informing them of their changes in password. 
✔ Client Affiliate Account Activation - Clients will receive a WhatsApp Notification when their Affiliate account is activated. 
✔ New Invoice Created - Clients will receive a WhatsApp Notification when a new invoice has been created. 
✔ Invoice Paid - Clients will receive a WhatsApp Notification when an invoice is marked as paid. 
✔ Invoice Payment Reminder - Clients will receive 
✔ Service Cancellation Request - Clients can be notified regarding their cancellation requests
✔ Domain Registration - Clients can be informed through whatsapp notification for domain registration. 
✔ Domain Transfer - Clients can be informed through whatsapp notification for domain transfers
✔ Domain Renewal - Clients can be informed through whatsapp notification for domain renewals.  
✔ Support Tickets - Client can be informed on responses regarding their support ticket directly in WhatsApp. 
✔ Chosen Clients And Client Groups
✔ Define If Discount Should Be Applied One Time Or Recurring
✔ Define Time Period For Recurring Discount
✔ Define Discount Validity Period
✔ Define If Discount Should Be Applied When Product Bundles Are Enabled
